The Zhumell Aurora 70 is a refractor telescope that's appropriate for beginner and intermediate astronomers.

It is suitable for viewing the moon and many planets, and delivers features that many other beginner models do not. For example, the AU 001 model includes a motor driven equatorial mount with slow motion controls. The objective lens is 70mm--bigger than many others in this price class.

Maximum useful magnification is a respectable 165X. An adjustable full-size tripod with accessory tray, a 5x24mm finderscope, and two eyepieces are also included.

With Zhumell's Universal T-adapter (not included), the scope can be converted to function as a lens for a 35mm camera for astrophotography. You would also need a T-ring that matches your camera body.
