Yamaha CDR-HD1300

Date Published: 1/8/08

Sure, lots of people make CD recorders. And these days, lots of people also offer hard disc recorders. The Yamaha CDR-HD1300 is a wonderful combination of both.

The CDR-HD1300 has an 80GB hard drive that can hold up to 120 uncompressed CD. This is a "loss-less" technology; unlike MP3, the sound quality is maintained for perfect copies. It can transfer (rip) a CD ten times faster than standard playback speed. Once discs are stored on the hard drive, it is extremely fast to access a track for playback or editing.

The CDR-HD1300 can record from the hard disc to a CD-R at eight times normal play speed, and a CD-RW records at four times normal speed. Since the material is coming from the hard drive, you can edit your songs, rename them, shorten them, combine them, add a fade in or out--the possibilities are nearly endless. There is an on-screen display, and you can enter titles from a PC via RS-232C connection. The Yamaha CDR-HD1300 has so many uses and options, it will bring out the creative side in anyone.
