The blades are forged from a single piece of high-carbon steel and feature Wusthof's signature bolster design and full-tang, with the metal extending all the way through the handle for excellent balance. The extra weight also facilitates the cutting motion, so your arm won't get fatigued during extended chores.

The slip-resistant handle grip is comfortable to hold, and the extra-sharp laser-controlled edge ensures a precision cut, whether you are working with hard-cored fruits such as pineapple or soft delicate mushrooms. The 8-piece block set includes the 3.5-inch paring knife, 4.5-inch utility knife, 6-inch sandwich knife, 8-inch cook's knife, 8-inch bread knife, 9-inch sharpening steel, kitchen shears, and 17-slot oak block. The block not only protects the edges from wear and tear, but also provides a safe, beautiful place to store the cutlery so it is within easy reach.
