The Whirlpool Whispure AP51030R is a large-capacity air purifier that can remove dust, pollen, mold spores, dust mites, and some gaseous chemicals, such as smoke.

Its CADR (clean air delivery rate) is a very respectable 330 (for dust and smoke) and 328 for pollen. Coverage, as its name implies, is 510 square feet, making it suitable for use in large rooms. The unit is simply and inconspicuously styled and can be put anywhere, even against a wall and still be expected to operate effectively.

It is equipped with both a HEPA filter and pre-filter for maximum effectiveness to capture particles as small as 0.3 microns. There is an indicator light that lets you know when to change the filters (about 12 months for the HEPA filter and 3 months for the pre-filter). The unit is very quiet, so you can run it in a bedroom while you sleep without being disturbed.

The Whirlpool Whispure AP51030R does not draw much current and runs without any problems on a 15-amp circuit.
