The Whirlpool Gold Slide-Out Range Hood GZ7730XG stays out of sight and out of your way until it's really needed. Then when you are ready for some stovetop cooking, you simply slide it out from its hiding spot beneath the cabinets and use it for cooktop lighting and the venting of steam and grease. When dinner is over, the GZ7730XG easily retracts to its space below the upper cabinet.

Equipped with a three-speed twin blower, this hood will exhaust up to 320 cfm (cubic feet per minute), sufficient for most non-commercial gas and electric ranges and cooktops. This unit cycles on automatically when needed and offers variable speeds and an on/off switch. The control panel, like the hood, is brushed aluminum.

Two dishwasher safe filters collect the grease and can be easily removed for cleaning. A covered fluorescent bulb, which requires occasional replacement, provides the lighting. Ideal for use with 3-1/4x10-inch ducting, the GZ7730XG can be converted to fit 7-inch round ducts.
