Whirlpool GBS307 built-in electric oven
Date Published: 2/7/07
If you're looking for a fine quality convection oven in the moderate price range, you'll want to consider the Whirlpool GBS307 built-in electric oven.
An outstanding convection oven, this model can speed your cooking up to 30 percent. Just keep in mind that "up to" is the key word here and you won't be disappointed. Convection doesn't speed up every food equally and Whirlpool's GBS307 is no exception. While it won't noticeably speed up the cooking of every food, it will cut the preparation time where it really matters -- for foods such as large roasts of beef, turkeys, hams and other meats that require long roasting times. The temptation to prepare these foods more often will be great when the cooking times are so reduced.
Yet another reason to consider the GBS307 is if you enjoy one of our favorite past times -- baking. Although the time savings is not considerable, the quantity of baked goods that can be produced at one time is significant. This is due to two factors, the convection fan and the three baking racks. The fan circulates hot air around the baked goods, so no baking pan is blocked by another pan from the heat; this allows for the use of three racks, and the results are still even browning of all your cookies, pies, breads and cakes.
A pleasure to use, the Whirlpool GBS307 has all the features you would expect on a built-in oven offered in this price range. It offers self cleaning, closed-door broiling, electronic touch controls and a large 4.1-cubic-foot capacity.
As attractive as it is functional, the GBS307 features an up-to-date design and comes in a choice of four colors: white, black, black/stainless and monochromatic stainless. A can't-go-wrong purchase from a reliable manufacturer, Whirlpool's 30-inch electric oven is a purchase you won't regret.
