The Westinghouse LTV-27w2 is a 27-inch wide-format LCD TV with a compact design and impressive performance.

The picture is rich and sharp, with a high level of brightness and excellent contrast. Colors look true to life, and action is smooth as all images are up-converted to progressive scan. Movies can be adapted for TV viewing using inverse 3:2 pulldown conversion, and PC content can be displayed on the monitor as well. The LTV-27w2 is equipped with picture-in-picture functions, making it easy to watch one program while monitoring a second.

The stereo speakers are rated at 9 watts of output per channel, delivering full, well-rounded audio that sounds quite realistic. Convenience features include closed captions, V-chip parental controls, three color temperature settings, fill and zoom options for fitting the picture to the screen, a freeze function for the full screen and a wide 170-degree viewing angle.

The rear panel is home to a handy collection of input jacks, with two audio/video inputs, one S-video input, two component video inputs, one RGB PC input with audio, one DVI digital-to-digital video interface and one RF input.
