The West Bend 78002 2-Slice Stainless-Steel Toaster has a brushed stainless-steel exterior with smooth, rounded edges. A black control panel on one end has four easy-to-use pushbutton controls for specialty settings (reheat, defrost, bagel, and cancel), and a dial toast-color control with settings from 1 (light) to 6 (dark).

Two extra-wide slots accommodate thick homemade bread slices, bagels, and Belgian waffles; the self-centering wire bread guides hold thinner items, such as English muffins, in place for perfect toasting.

Electronically controlled heating elements maintain a consistent temperature to produce even results. Using the specialty settings, you can toast just one side of a sliced bagel or muffin, adjust the heat to compensate for items that have been frozen, gently warm already toasted foods, or cancel operation at any time.

The carriage lever of the West Bend 78002 must be pushed down before the buttons can be activated. This toaster also has a slide-out crumb tray for easy cleaning.
