A heavy porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grate distributes heat evenly across its surface. Two 11x12-inch plastic side shelves flip out for convenient work space or to hold any necessary supplies. A glass-reinforced nylon flame supports the drum-shaped cast-aluminum grill body and also features stay-cool side handles. The unit's domed lid has two side vents, which allow excess heat out, while maintaining an optimum cooking environment.
