We noticed that, because of the strength of the blender's churning, most mixtures had to be kept to less than 3 cups or less for very hot ingredients, to avoid overflow.

This blender performed with easy efficiency in every blending task tested from pureed tomatoes to creamy salad dressing to milkshakes, but it worked especially well for blending ice drinks and frozen smoothies. The blade design, the powerful churning action, the pulse setting and the removable lid insert combine for quick and effective ice crushing and smooth even blending. That same power, however, means that keeping a firm hand on the lid is standard operating procedure for this blender.
