The Viewsonic NextVision HD10 is an HD tuner that can turn an HD-ready TV into a true high-definition system, displaying over-the-air broadcasts in high-definition without any intermediary services or fees. The silver box will fit into any entertainment center with no effort, as it is less than two inches high. It can output in standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:9 aspect ratios, and it is capable of 480i, 480p, 720p and 1,080i display.

The rear of the HD10 has a full range of output jacks to accommodate most TV monitors, with S-video, audio/video, component video, and 4-DIN outputs. Analog and coaxial digital audio outputs offer the option of standard stereo sound or sending Dolby Digital signals to a home theater surround sound system.

Picture-in-picture features are part of the package, and on-screen menus or the supplied remote control can be used to access other convenience features including favorite channels, closed captions and mute. An electronic programming guide helps users make selections from among the HDTV channels, including free over-the-air HDTV.
