The Uniden DCT758-4 2.4GHz Cordless Expandable Phone System is a surprisingly low-priced product that provides a lot of versatility and features. Included in the box are a base station and four handsets, each of which has a built-in speakerphone and the ability to intercom or transfer calls to the other extensions. The handsets also have 100-entry caller ID logs, last-3-number redial buttons, and 10 speed-dial locations. Meanwhile, the base station is equipped with a 15-minute digital answering machine that has memo recording and remote message retrieval but, unfortunately, just one mailbox.

The 2.4GHz transmissions provide reasonable range and clarity, but be forewarned that the signals will interfere with Wi-Fi transmissions. Other features include: belt clip, headset jack, wall mounting, multiple ring tones, room monitor, 4-way conference calling, and page/handset locator. Overall, this is a very inexpensive phone system that provides a surprising number of features.
