Equipped with professional-grade power, high performance and the ultimate in torque, the Troy-Bilt TBP6160 straight-shaft gas string trimmer is designed to tackle any chore. The 59-inch pro-style solid aluminum shaft offers an extra-long reach and easy access for trimming under shrubs and low branches. The feel is great, as the weight is well balanced, and the noise level of the engine is relatively low. The 32cc, 4-cycle commercial-grade engine is strong and powerful, with more power at lower rpm's than 2-cycle trimmers.
Other engine features include a clutch drive system for easier starting. To top it off, the 4-cycle advantage eliminates the hassle and mess of having to mix gas and oil. We like the ergonomic comfort and design of the multi-position D-handle, which makes this trimmer easy to use whether you're right-handed or left-handed. What's more, this model produces relatively little vibration, so you'll experience much less fatigue during lengthy trimming sessions.
We also like the bump-and-feed action of the SpeedFeed trimmer head. Advances are quick and smooth, and the line is easily loaded on the spool without having to dismantle anything; just thread the line through the two opposing eyelets on the trimmer head, pull an arm's length of line and turn the large knob on the spool to reload.
The Troy-Bilt TBP6160 is an affordably priced professional-grade gas trimmer that is built for performance and is definitely designed to impress.
