Meanwhile, the QWERTY keyboard is backlit and great for e-mailing, while the design of the rest of the phone makes for considerably comfortable use. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi is not supported, but due to the EV-DO network, users can get broadband speeds for their surfing and e-mailing. The high-speed connectivity is also great for listening to streaming music and watching videos. The phone can also be used as a wireless modem. Other features include: speakerphone, vibrating alert, photo Caller ID, an MP3 player, and a 1.3-megapixel camera.

Overall, the Treo 700p is a good product that offers excellent ergonomics, a whopping 4 GB of potential memory (through the SDIO/MMC expansion slot), and a vibrant 2.5 65K-color LCD. Though a bit pricey, it is one of the better smartphones on the market.
