Toshiba's 15DLV76 is a compact TV/DVD combination featuring a standard-format LCD screen, intelligent design, and a plethora of useful features. The silver monitor comes with a pedestal stand that can be removed for mounting the 15DLV76 on the wall (separate mounting hardware required), and stereo speakers are built in on either side of the screen. Discs are loaded into a slot on the side of the monitor, and control buttons are lined along the monitor's upper edge.

The picture on the 15DLV76 looks great, displaying at the native resolution of 1,024X768, although the tuner is not high-definition. This TV/DVD is equipped with picture-enhancing features such as a 3-line digital comb filter, 3:2 pulldown conversion of movies, and black-level expansion.

In addition to commercially available DVD-Video, the disc player can handle DVD-R, VCD, CD, and CD-R/RW, including discs with MP3, WMA, and JPEG files. DVD playback options include digital zoom, fast and slow motion, and multiple camera angles. The 15DLV76 can connect to an external surround sound system via its coaxial digital audio output, and a sleep timer and V-chip parental controls are welcome features.
