ThinkTank Airport Addicted rugged backpack

Date Published: 6/19/06

The versatile ThinkTank Airport Addicted rugged backpack will provide safe equipment transportation for all types of photographers who must carry lots of gear along in the field.

It does not even look like a photo backpack, so it does not draw attention. The ThinkTank Airport Addicted was specifically designed to be the maximum size allowable for carrying on board and storing under the seat or in overhead compartments on airplanes. This is a must today if you don't want to check valuable equipment, especially now when all types of checked cases must remain unlocked.

It's large enough to store a long, big 400mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/2.8 in addition to multiple SLR camera bodies, lots of smaller accessories, and even has a removable padded case for a 15-inch laptop computer. The interior, which is easily accessed by opening large zippers on the back, has extra-large pull tabs and is well padded and compartmentalized with lots of extra dividers so the space can be customized for your specific equipment/needs.

There are a multitude of smaller shallow storage pockets on both the inside and outside of the large back flap that covers the main storage compartment.  A seam-sealed waterproof raincover can be used to cover the entire case when in inclement weather. You really have to see this new bag to appreciate all the quality that went into its construction. It appears to be extra-well assembled with attention to detail and workmanship for long practical use life.

The broad, padded shoulder straps of the ThinkTank Airport Addicted even have a covered storage area to keep them from flopping around or dragging and getting in the way when carrying the case by either of the two padded exterior handles.
