It's large enough to store a long, big 400mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/2.8 in addition to multiple SLR camera bodies, lots of smaller accessories, and even has a removable padded case for a 15-inch laptop computer. The interior, which is easily accessed by opening large zippers on the back, has extra-large pull tabs and is well padded and compartmentalized with lots of extra dividers so the space can be customized for your specific equipment/needs.

There are a multitude of smaller shallow storage pockets on both the inside and outside of the large back flap that covers the main storage compartment.  A seam-sealed waterproof raincover can be used to cover the entire case when in inclement weather.
