The Terk TV55 is an indoor/outdoor TV antenna that is optimized for HDTV reception. The simple, slim, rod-shaped unit can be mounted on a rooftop or on a wall or windowsill inside the house.
It can even be mounted on an RV or boat (in a special marine version). It is designed for easy installation, with an over-the-shoulder strap included as part of the box so that you can transport all the necessary parts, even on a ladder, while your hands remain free during installation.
It can be used independently or with a satellite system to pull in HDTV and analog UHF and VHF signals. The compact design is made possible by a helical coil housed inside the unit and helped along by a dual-mode ultra-low-noise amplifier that can be customized for optimal reception of weak (rural) or strong (urban) signals.
This antenna comes in an extremely durable weatherproof housing, with an F connector and a broad range of mounting hardware for any of the possible locations. If you are a DirecTV user, the One Wire Solution Kit has two diplexers that allow you to combine the TV55 with your DirecTV dish using a single coaxial cable.
