Terk TV42

Terk has come up with a pleasing solution to the dilemma of many new satellite dish owners--what to do about local TV signals. Terk is offering their new TV42 outdoor "clip-on" multi-directional antenna. The TV42 is designed to be used in conjunction with a small satellite system, allowing users to easily receive local channels. The TV42, which resembles a large paperclip, simply attaches to your 18-inch satellite dish. The TV42 maximizes reception of both low-band VHF (channels 2-5) and high band VHF and UHF signals. It is designed to work with satellite dishes that have dual LNB. (If your dish has only a single LNB, use Terk's TV41, priced at $59.95). Both the TV41 and TV42 are designed to pick up local signals that cannot be legitimately offered by your satellite provider. The TV42 was used in tests at 30 miles away from the World Trade Center, and the signal came in quite strong. Installation was quick and easy as it simply clips onto your dish. It couldn't be easier. Also included with the TV42 is Terk's Owners Manual, which provides easy to understand instruction. Hook up requires only one coaxial cable entering the home for both satellite and off-the-air TV reception. Included with the TV42 are two 28-inch coaxial jumper cables, four 12 inch coaxial cables, two indoor diplexers, and four rubber insulators. The four outdoor connectors are weather-proofed.
