The Terk TV36 is a medium-range VHF/UHF/FM rooftop antenna that is also HDTV compatible. This Yagi-style antenna is made of high-tensile aluminum, making it extremely sturdy regardless of weather conditions; it is designed to withstand even high winds and ice. The high-quality polymer finish protects the antenna from rusting, so it should function well over many years of use.
This antenna has 33 elements and a 69-inch turning radius, and it can bring in channels 2 to 69 over moderate distances, so it is most useful in the suburbs rather than remote areas. The mounting kit includes a bracket and five-foot mast for installing the TV36 on the roof, plus a bonus mounting kit for installing the antenna on a chimney or wall.
A threaded F-connector on the antenna's transformer accepts a coaxial downlead cable (not provided) to connect up to a TV. To ensure functionality in all types of conditions, the F-connector on the transformer is protected from the elements by a waterproof rubber weatherboot.
