Stereo Receivers Reviews and Prices
A stereo receiver decodes the signals from your CD player and sends them to your stereo speakers to produce sound. A stereo receiver differs from an A/V receiver in that it only coordinates audio signals (not video) and is generally limited to two channels of sound, while a home theater receiver might have five or seven.
