Staub La Theiere Square Teapot 1650107
Date Published: 1/30/08
The "La Theiere" Square Teapot 1650107 from Staub is an adorable mini enameled cast-iron pot with a distinctive design. Available in either round or square, and in a variety of colors, this 4-inch teapot comes with its own removable infuser ball, which can be used with loose tea leaves or on its own to simply boil water.
The lid design complements the pot by completing the pouring spout. A round stainless-steel knob provides a subtle accent to the solid color teapot. The lid and pot fit together like a puzzle and are held together through the stainless-steel swinging handles, which also let you lift the pot for pouring.
"La Theiere" comes from the French word meaning teapot. Each pot is individually crafted in France using a one-of-a-kind sand mold, which is destroyed after use. The hard enamel finish holds up against chips and scratches and keeps the pot looking beautiful for years to come.
The pot is suitable for use directly on your stovetop and is attractive enough to bring directly to the table for serving. Because cast-iron retains its heat longer than ordinary metals, the pot will keep your tea warm for a longer period of time. The Staub La Theiere Square Teapot 1650107 holds about 1/2 quart of water, enough for two large mugs of tea.
