The Sony SA-FT3H speaker package is well suited to match modern flat-panel and rear-projection televisions, as the excellent sound quality produced will perfectly complement the sharp, detailed images on display. The SA-FT3H system uses identical speakers for the surround channels (front and back left and right) to ensure a smooth transition across the soundstage.

Each two-way satellite speaker utilizes a 4-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter. The specially designed woofer is only 1-1/4 inches deep, but it still produces a substantial sound. With an impressive frequency response of 140Hz to 50,000Hz, the SA-FT3H system is ideal for enjoying the high-resolution audio from DVD-Audio and SACD. The timbre-matched center channel uses a pair of 3-inch woofers and a 1-inch tweeter, and it has only a slightly more narrow response of 150Hz to 50,000Hz.

The subwoofer uses two 6-inch drivers powered by a significant but not overwhelming 150-watt amplifier, producing a response of 28Hz to 200Hz. The silver color of all the components in the Sony SA-FT3H will look and sound great in a theater system that features one of today's high-tech displays.
