The RCD-W500C is a dual-deck CD player/recorder with the speed and flexibility necessary to make fast and accurate digital copies of music.

The five-disc CD drive can play back CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3 files. The recording deck can record CD-R/RW at 4X speed, and disc finalizing is also performed at high speed. Super Bit Mapping ensures a low noise floor. CD text information can be entered onto recordings before finalization.

One-Touch Synchro recording makes it easy to copy entire discs, and other features (including 24-step program play) make compilation recording a snap. Twenty-four-bit A/D and D/A converters ensure accurate copying from analog courses, as well as accurate playback. The unit has one optical input, one optical output, one set of analog inputs, and one set of analog outputs. There is also a headphone jack with level control.

The RCD-W500C will provide bit-accurate copies of tracks or entire discs, and it makes it particularly easy to assemble compilation discs from multiple originals. Moreover, the unit's 4X speed makes copying operations fast. This is an excellent combination of features and speed at a good price.
