Sony's MDR-Q23 let listeners display their mood for the day, as the headphones come with a choice of interchangeable earcup caps designed to complement the rest of the Sony Psyc color palette.

The MDR-Q23 caps are available in white and green or black and orange, and users can quickly add (or remove) color and flash by swapping out the caps. The headphones themselves are available in white (MDR-Q23LPPSWHI) or black (MDR-Q23LPPSBLK).

The MDR-Q23 are comfortable clip-on-style headphones, so they will prevent the dreaded headphone-hair look and can be worn with a hat. The sound is better than might be expected, with high-density neodymium magnets and 30mm drivers producing clear uppers and a satisfying low end. The frequency response is listed as 20Hz to 24,000Hz.

The headphone cable uses a neck-chain design to reduce tangles, and the 5-foot main cord has an L-shape gold-plated miniplug.
