The Sony DAV-FX10 is a complete 5.1 home theater system that features five compact speakers designed to deliver big sound.
The main unit of the DAV-FX10 houses a six-channel, 1,000-watt amplifier along with a five-disc progressive scan DVD/CD/SACD changer. The changer uses a slot-loading design that is elegant and simple to operate, and it takes up very little space on the front panel.
The DAV-FX10 has internal processing for DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Pro Logic II, and it also sports coaxial and optical digital audio inputs. In addition to the full-range satellites, the DAV-FX10 features a Digital Direct Twin Drive subwoofer that produces a very musical and accurate bass response. Also present is an AM/FM tuner with 30 total station presets.
The Sony DAV-FX10 is a great system for people looking for a powerful system but who don't have a lot of real estate to devote to a full-size home theater setup.
