The main unit of the DAV-FX10 houses a six-channel, 1,000-watt amplifier along with a five-disc progressive scan DVD/CD/SACD changer. The changer uses a slot-loading design that is elegant and simple to operate, and it takes up very little space on the front panel.

The DAV-FX10 has internal processing for DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Pro Logic II, and it also sports coaxial and optical digital audio inputs.
