Nobody wants a CD player that clashes with their look, so the Sony D-EJ001 is available in a rainbow of colors, such as orange, bright blue, white, and lime green. All are vivid and very attractive.

The display and operating controls are all located on the side of the player, so all you'll see is the colorful lid on the top. The D-EJ001 plays CD-R and CD-RW, but it is not compatible with MP3 files burned to disc. There are a variety of playback modes, including programmed playlist, random, and repeat. There is also a cool bookmark feature that lets you program a playlist from a variety of CD. Don't worry about bumps, because the D-EJ001 has Skip-Free G-Protection that protects against physical shocks to the player.

Sony includes digital Mega Bass for a solid bass response with minimal distortion. It also includes one of our favorite features, an automatic volume limiter that helps prevent hearing damage from excessive volumes. The D-EJ001 will play for about 12 hours using two AA batteries, and it comes with competent clip-style headphones. With so many colors available, the Sony D-EJ001 will never go out of style.
