But its most impressive feature is the easy-to-engage, multi-position rotating rear handle. Designed to help the user maintain a comfortable grip and considerable control when trimming either horizontally or vertically, the handle can be rotated to 45 or 90 degrees, then locked into position. That's especially nice for trimming both the top and face of a hedge without contorting yourself into an uncomfortable position. Safetywise, it features a kill function that immediately stops the double-sided, double-reciprocating blade when you let go of the handle. The 161 trimmer weighs just 13 pounds and is powered by a 29cc two-cycle engine. It's also well designed, with an anti-vibration system to cut down on user fatigue.
