Snapper RE200 RE1330 riding mower

The Snapper RE200 RE1330 is a high-end riding mower that has many features that help place it at the top of its class.
The RE200 RE1330 has a 30-inch cutting deck; it's not the largest deck you'll find on a riding mower, but the single blade cuts with ease and the 12-inch turning radius is one of the tightest you'll find. The clippings are dispensed out on the right side of the mower and are generally evenly distributed without clumping. We find, however, that if the grass is wet or even too tall, the blade chokes a bit and the side-discharge gets clogged. This is a problem, but if you maintain your lawn consistently and don't mow it after a large rainstorm, you shouldn't have any problems. The blade can be raised or lowered for a 1- to 3.75-inch cut.
The Snapper RE200 RE1330 weighs 415 pounds but comes with Snapper Ground Hugger Traction, which includes a torsion bar suspension that allows the rear wheels to pivot independently from the frame and front axle. Snapper's Auto-Leveller System is a feature that keeps the machine level to the ground over uneven terrain for a clean cut, even when the user makes tight turns; we find this feature to be especially useful when trimming around landscaping.
The 13-hp Briggs & Stratton Intek engine is mounted at the rear of this machine. And offers a relatively low maxmium speed of 5 mph; because of this, and due to the somewhat small deck size, you may spend more time mowing your lawn with the RE200 RE1330. Its hydrostatic transmission gives it good power, however, and allows for eqaul speed when going forward or in reverse by use of a simple hand control.
The Snapper RE200 RE1330 also has a sturdy steel frame, as well as a 2-gallon gas tank, which is about average for riding mowers; depending on the size of your yard, however, you may find yourself filling up rather often because of the size of this tank. The RE200 RE1330 is a reasonably comfortable mower; it has an adjustable seat and a high back for added comfort, though it lacks some extra features (such as a cup holder) that one might expect to find on a riding mower at this price.
If you're looking to mow a medium-sized yard with varying terrain, consider the Snapper RE200 RE1330. It's heavy, but with its Ground Hugger Traction and Auto-Leveller System, it will almost certainly deliver an evenly cut lawn.
Pros: Auto-leveler, excellent traction, tight turning radius
Cons: Price, lacks features, small fuel tank
