Snapper Hi-Vac Bagging Mower 2167519B

If you prefer to bag your grass clippings when you mow, the Snapper Hi-Vac Bagging Mower 2167519B is a 2-in-1 gasoline-powered push mower designed with a unique bagging system for great bagging performance. Bagging grass clippings expands your options beyond fertilizing your lawn so you can use bagged clippings as a nutrient-rich mulch for shrubs and trees, to fertilize flower and vegetable beds, add organic matter to soil and green matter to the compost pile for quality compost in record time. The high-volume, top discharge mower deck and hi-lift blade are a cut above when it comes to quality vacuum and bagging performance. The bagging system is factory-installed and features a 2.5-bushel grass collector that detaches and drops back into place with ease. We especially like how the large gate-mouth bag is a breeze to empty, but weren't as impressed with the design of the bagging system as the long side-mounted tube that delivers grass clippings to the bag may have a tendency to become clogged, especially if you ever mow your lawn when wet.
Sturdy deck construction made from 14-gauge Durasteel with a rolled-lip deck design, a recoil starting mower powered by Briggs & Stratton 6.75-horsepower Quantum XRM engine and solid steel front and rear axles are part of the standard package with this mower. We also like the big 10-inch rear wheels, which made the mower easier to maneuver over rough or uneven ground than other push mowers having smaller-sized rear wheels. That can be a real plus when pushing a mower with a 2.5-bushel bag filled with grass clippings!
The hi-lift bagging blade effectively cuts the grass, allowing you to recycle lawn trimmings into a fine mulch using the mulch mode. But if mulching is a mode that is also high-priority, the optional Ninja Mulching Kit (MSRP $49.99) -- with six cutting surfaces to chop and re-chop clippings into a super fine mulch -- easily takes this mower to a higher level of mulching performance. The folding handlebar is padded for comfort and can also be adjusted to within a 4-inch range to accommodate most users of different heights. You can set the height-of-cut on each wheel to one of seven positions, from 1.25 to 4 inches high, giving this mower a wide range for handling a variety of mowing conditions and grass types.
For a sturdy mower that offers great vacuum and bagging performance, we found the Snapper 2167519B gasoline-powered push mower to be a quality contender worth considering.
