Snapper 11532E
Date Published: 10/5/07
When it comes to huge snowfalls, bigger is really better, and Snapper's 11532E is one of the biggest snow throwers available for under $2000.
Selling for $300 more than Snapper's next-smallest model, the 11532E increases your clearing path to 32 inches while adding a remote chute deflector and a bigger engine to your snow fighting tools.
We recommend this snow blower for those living in snowy climates with the kind of winds that create huge snowdrifts. The 11532E is equipped with a drift cutter and a powerful 11.5-hp Briggs & Stratton OHV engine as standard equipment. The extra-wide clearing path of 32 inches expands the pick-up ability of this machine and allows you to process more snow at one time; in addition, it throws snow up to 45 feet! In lighter snowfalls, this large clearing path simply helps you get the smaller job done with fewer passes.
The addition of a remote chute deflector insures that you'll never have to stop the machine to adjust the chute; just keep on working -- the chute controls are conveniently located right at your fingertips.
Like the smaller Snapper machines, the 11532E has six speeds forward and two speeds reverse. In place of Snapper's standard equipment, this model offers larger 16-inch tires and a headlight, which is useful if you'll be clearing areas at night.
Electric start and a large 14-inch auger are included and are standard issue for any of the large-frame Snapper machines. One-hand control and Snapper's wheel release trigger for easy turns are on-board as well.
Pros: Price, 11.5-hp engine, drift cutter, headlight, remote chute control
Cons: Wide machine to store
