The quite small Snap Sights Sports Daylight Waterproof Camera SS02 is a basic point-and-shoot camera that comes with a removable underwater housing for use in depths down to 100 feet. It is an all-weather camera that has no built-in flash, but works well in most any daylight situation. It also works well in moderate depths under water when there is adequate light and it is preloaded with fast ISO 800 film.

The camera can be reloaded and reused. When inside the housing it can be used in any type of daylight condition, even when wet or around water on a boat, swimming pool, or similar situation when you might not want to use a more valuable camera. The SS02 will also float.

After pushing a button on the bottom and rewinding the film, the rewind knob must be pulled straight out to release the film cassette. The rewind button was a bit difficult to pull out in testing. Test pictures made outdoors in daylight of subjects from 4 feet or farther away had good sharp detail. For a reusable camera complete with an underwater housing, the price is very reasonable.
