Simplicity Lancer 17-horsepower riding mower
Date Published: 9/17/08
If you've got a large lawn to cut and don't have the time or energy to go back and trim what the riding mower missed, consider Simplicity's unique Lancer riding mower.
Thanks to its high-visibility design, it feels like a hybrid between a traditional riding mower and a zero-turning-radius mower. With its front-positioned 44-inch deck, the Lancer thrives where other riding mowers fail: around trees and close to fences and other landscaping elements. And the rear-wheel steering and 16-inch turning radius lets you maneuver around obstacles while zipping along up to 5.1 miles per hour.
The controls are nicely positioned, and the high-back seat is adjustable. The 4-gallon fuel tank features a large opening and built-in fuel gauge.
The 17-horsepower Simplicity Lancer comes with an easy-to-reach lever that raises the mower deck off the ground, perfect for transporting the tractor over driveways. And the deck flips up 90 degrees, so it's easy to clean.
