The Sierra Designs Benjari 6 is a family tent designed to hold six people. It is unusually spacious, and could be used for group camping.

The Benjari 6 family tent is unusual because the two sleeping areas, sleeping three people each, are separated into two "wings" to give more privacy. Each wing has its own door and vestibule. Either one or two wings can be used, by clipping them into the rainfly. The Benjari 6 family tent also includes one all-mesh wing; it can be used to replace a standard wing (weather permitting), or it can be used as a common area. When attached to the two sleeping wings, this mesh room provides a tent with three wings.

In addition, a large awning is provided with two awning poles and can be fitted to any of the doors on the three wings, to create a shaded area. Windows provide good visibility and light.

The Benjari 6 family tent is connected to the pole system with 16 clips. Webbing and poles are color coded for easier setup. Mainly designed for warmer weather, the Benjari 6 family tent has full-panel mesh vents and vents in the peak to allow air to circulate inside the tent while keeping rain out. The vents can be adjusted from inside the tent. There are numerous interior pockets to hold small items. The guy-out loops are reflective for safety, and the zipper pulls are reflective and do not jingle in the wind.

The Benjari 6 family tent is chemically treated with Tent Guard to prevent growth of fungus and mildew. It comes with stuff sacks, stakes, and guylines, and can be pitched using only the rainfly and footprint floor; this provides a more open interior. This family tent comes in a blue and gray color scheme.

The Sierra Designs Benjari 6 is a very versatile family tent with two separate sleeping areas, and can be set up with two or three wings. While not suitable for harsh conditions, the Benjari 6 will keep a family or group of six comfortable on any weekend outing.
