Shure E3g in-ear headphones

Date Published: 10/9/06

Designed for full compatibility with Sony's PSP, Shure's E3g headphones produce an excellent high-end sound and a strong bass response to let you get the most from your handheld gaming experience. These headphones are not one-trick ponies, however, as they will also serve as a top-notch upgrade for an MP3 or portable CD player.

The E3g headphones utilize an in-ear design that effectively blocks external noise, allowing them to be much smaller and lighter than headphones employing an active sound-cancellation system. The in-ear design also enhances the bass response, and it reduces the risk of ear damage because the lack of competing external sound encourages lower listening levels.

Each side of the E3g headphones uses a single driver, but it produces a very good sonic performance, with a sensitivity of 115dB and an impedance of 26 ohms. Shure includes a customizable earplug kit to ensure a snug fit in your ear canal, and you can even get custom ear molds created by an audiologist. When properly fitted, the E3g headphones will stay put even during jogging or active workouts.

Shure's E3g headphones will make your PSP sessions sound better than you thought possible, and your music will sound great too.
