The Samsung SGH-e315 GSM Mobile Phone is aclamshell phone that is a great buy for those that like a minimalist package with high-end features.

While the SGH-e315 looks like earlier Samsung generations, it has quite a few features, including a built-in camera, a voice recorder, a large (1000-entry) phonebook, and two color LCDs--the external one being capable of displaying photo caller ID.

The camera delivers the low resolution expected from cell-phone snapshots and video, but this model also gives you digital zoom, self-timer, and a host of visual effects. Call clarity is excellent and operation of the phone is straightforward. From a single charge, you should get about 200 minutes of talk time and roughly ten days of standby.

Other features include: text messaging, vibrating ring, Internet browser (with GPRS high-speed downloading), and voice memo recording. The only drawbacks are that the SGH-e315 does not support Bluetooth and there is no built-in speakerphone.

Otherwise, the Samsung SGH-e315 GSM Mobile Phone is a very dependable phone at an exceptional price.
