Using a totally new design concept with the permanently mounted blower and vac tubes molded together, you can instantly switch from blower to vacuum mode "on the fly" with a simple flip of a lever. This eliminates the need to stop and exchange tubes. The collection bag mounts closely under the bottom tube for excellent balance and comfort. The motor, which has a two-speed switch, stays in the same orientation in both modes so there is no need for complicated grips. In the fall of '99, a 31 cc gas engine version, RGBV3100, priced at about $129, became available with similar features and specs.
