You may not have heard of Roper, but the company's RT18SKXRD is an attractive top-freezer refrigerator that offers a respectable collection of features at a very affordable price.

This medium-sized refrigerator comes in a wonderful silver contoured door cabinet, so it has the look of shiny stainless steel. However, it doesn't have the maintenance requirements of the real thing. Perhaps more importantly if you have kids, it works with magnets, so you can proudly display their artwork in the kitchen.

At only 28 inches wide, the RT18SKXRD offers 17.6 total cubic feet of storage space, so it is a great choice for smaller kitchens. It is best suited for small families or singles, but it also serves well as a second refrigerator in the basement or garage. Of course, the RT18SKXRD looks so good that you may not want to keep it hidden.

The refrigerator door has four fixed full-width door shelves that can hold gallon-sized containers. The fridge compartment has two full-width tempered-glass shelves with spill-saver lips, and both shelves can be adjusted for height.
