Rockford Fosgate Power T115D2 raw car subwoofer

For some folks, bigger always means better. While this sentiment isn't always supported by reality, it is certainly true for the Rockford Fosgate Power T115D2 subwoofer, which is designed to handle the extremely high power outputs of some of today's massive amplifiers. The T115D2 is a huge 15-inch subwoofer with an aluminum parabolic cone, with an equally large magnet that itself weighs over 13 pounds. A rubber surround and spider venting both add to the efficiency of the system while improving power handling.
The T115D2 is a dual voice-coil system, with an impedance of 2 ohms. The frequency response is 26Hz to 250Hz, and the T115D2 has a sensitivity of 88dB. This is not the most efficient woofer on the block, but given its size, it's not bad. The recommended power handling is 150 watts to 600 watts (average) for both voice coils, or 300 watts to each voice coil, with a peak power handling of 1,200 watts.
Sealed or vented cabinets pose no problems for this monster, which has a mounting depth of 8-3/8 inches. Although designed to work with Rockford Fosgate's Power Series amplifiers, any high-powered amplifier would be proud to be associated with the Power T115D2.
