The round stainless-steel base measures 16-inches in diameter with a shallow depth of 1-1/2 inches. The design allows food to spread out so more of it comes in contact with the cooking surface. Foods cook quickly and evenly, and the circular shape prevents any foods from being trapped in a corner and burning. A removable variable-temperature dial control has settings from 200-400 degrees Fahrenheit, plus keep warm and off. Special features of this pan include a full-view glass domed lid with pull handle, a steam vent, and an extra-thick 18/10 stainless-steel base with die-cast in heat element that provides even temperature throughout the cooking surface. Two extra-large handles are riveted in place on either side of the skillet to provide a firm, safe grip for handling. The skillet also has four rubber feet, which keep it in position during use.
