The Rival Crock-Pot SCE600 slow cooker features an attractive removable stoneware casserole dish. It combines the convenience of slow cooking with the elegance of a beautiful serving piece that can go directly from the base to the kitchen table. The 6-quart capacity oval crockery slow cooker is ideal for serving 5-6 people. A control knob on the base has four settings: high, low, warm, and off. A tempered clear glass lid with handle fits nicely around the rim of the stoneware. Both the lid and the stoneware are dishwasher safe. Since the stoneware is oven safe, it can double as a baking dish. The Rinse-Clean, Stick Resistant Coating greatly simplifies cleaning. The outside of the Crock-Pot's base can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Certain countertop surfaces may not resist the heat of the slow cooker, therefore a heat-resistant pad or trivet may be necessary.
