Remington Branch Wizard 111409-01
Date Published: 3/9/06
The Remington Branch Wizard 111409-01 lets you prune branches while keeping your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Unless you're a pro, climbing a ladder with a chainsaw to trim tree branches is a recipe for disaster. It is one of the thankfully several good low-priced, effective, and above all, safer alternatives on the market.
Essentially a small chainsaw on a stick, the Remington Branch Wizard 111409-01 is powered by an electric 6-amp motor. The saw cuts through branches up to 6 inches thick. The in-line powerhead is a nice feature; the design doesn't obstruct the blade so you can see what you're doing while you maneuver between branches.
Depending on the user's height, the 6-foot rust-resistant fiberglass handle can reach branches as high as 12 feet. There's a trigger lock on the handle to avoid accidental starting, and the Branch Wizard also features a non-slip grip and limb-gripping teeth designed to make it easier to remove branches once they're cut.
