Length: 400mm.-Chassis features a 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminum reinforcing plate for strength and flexibility to ensure stability. Comes with Tamiya EXPEC FM radio, 4-wheel independent suspension features front double trailing arm and rear swing axle setups, die-cast suspension arms, and oil dampers. Electronics and battery are protected by a durable clear plastic mechanism box. Comes equipped with full ball bearings to reduce friction loss. For power source, Tamiya recommends using a LF Battery LF1100-6.6V Racing Pack (M-Size), which is hard to find in the U.S.; standard 6 cell NiCd/NiMH packs are too large for the enclosed chassis of this buggy. However, there are substitutes to the LF1100 battery out there. We tested this buggy using the Great Planes Electric Fly 1300mAh 7.4V 25C lithium-polymer (LiPo) battery in our shop, and it ran great. Before you decide to use LiPo battery, do research it carefully; LiPo batteries have special charging requirements. You can find LiPo batteries and chargers in most hobby shops that sell electric RC airplanes, and they can tell you all about it.
