Polk Audio SR104-SVC raw car subwoofer

The Polk Audio SR104-SVC raw car subwoofer is not for the faint of heart. Designed to provide competition-quality audio when installed in a sealed enclosure, the SR104-SVC delivers thunderous bass that you must experience to believe. Polk recommends a net enclosure volume of 0.66 cubic feet.
The innards of this raw car subwoofer are quite impressive. The SR104-SVC is built around a 10-inch driver with a single 2-1/2-inch voice coil. It uses a die-cast aluminum chassis, which supports the massive 16-pound motor. Dual spiders support the driver, while a Nitrile Butyl Rubber (NBR) surround reduces distortion and resists the extreme heat, cold, and humidity often found in a car interior.
The SR104-SVC has a frequency response of 25Hz to 200Hz, with nominal impedance of 4 ohms. The recommended power is 700 watts continuous and 1,400 watts peak, and the sensitivity is 90dB. When installed in a properly designed cabinet, the SR104-SVC will provide the bass response most subwoofers can only dream about.
