Polaroid V35
Date Published: 9/20/07
One of a number of rather basic motorized compact 35mm cameras from Concord Camera, the Polaroid V35 offers more distinctive styling that sets it apart from its cousins. The end of the camera near the built-in flash has a rounded bright bar that protrudes slightly from the body to offer a finger hold to tightly grip the camera body. At the opposite end a wide strap serves as a hand strap or can be snapped off via a buckle and replaced with a long conventional neck strap. The camera is smooth and stylish, and comes in the colors aluminum, yellow, black, and red. It's rather basic, so there are few controls. A sliding switch beside the lens opens the lens and turns the power on. When flash is needed, it powers up, a small LED lights green beside the viewfinder and it will fire, there is no control over the flash though. A small window on the top of the body shows an exposure counter and has a small lamp inside so it's easy to see in any lighting. The viewfinder window is small but bright. Test prints were good with sharp detail. The flash charged and fired in low light and evenly covered the field. A removable belt attachment clip comes with the camera and it's offered in different colors.
