Pioneer GM-5100T auto amplifier

The Pioneer GM-5100T is a versatile amplifier that can be configured in a variety of ways. This amplifier has a two-channel MOSFET power source providing a CEA 2006-compliant 125 watts at 4 ohms, or it can be bridged to supply 380 watts into one channel.
We like that the GM-5100T has line-level and speaker-level inputs that let just about any head unit be used as a source, even one without pre-amp outputs.
To use this as a subwoofer amplifier, simply engage the low-pass filter that is fixed at 80Hz with a 12dB/octave slope. There is a three-stage bass boost centered at 50Hz, with a choice of 6dB, 9dB, or 12dB of boost.
While more expensive amplifiers have completely variable filters and boosts, those present on the GM-5100T are certainly adequate for most situations. The frequency response is listed as 10Hz to 50,000Hz.
Although not the most flexible amplifier available, the Pioneer GM-5100T provides ample power and an expansive frequency range with enough features to satisfy most basic upgrade needs.
