The DEQ-7600 is a high-end digital graphic equalizer designed to provide comprehensive control over the frequency response of a mobile audio system, and it also adds other features rarely found in equalizers.

It provides 15 bands of equalization (31.5, 50, 80, 125, 200, 315, 500, 800, 1.3k, 2k, 3.2k, 5k, 8k, 12.5k, 20kHz), and in each band, the variable range is +/-12dB (front/rear common). The subwoofer crossover can be set at 50Hz, 80Hz, or 125Hz, with an 18dB/octave slope. In addition, it has five factory EQ presets (rock, pops, jazz, vocal, and hip hop) and three user presets. It also provides five modes of Digital Sound Field Control and four modes of listening seating position.

Operation is easy with a large multicolor electroluminescent display; in addition to EQ settings, it also shows a 15-band spectrum analyzer. The unit can be controlled by an optional remote control. RCA jacks are used for all inputs and outputs. The DEQ-7600 equalizer will let you tailor the system's frequency response to perfection, or you can simply punch up whatever response desired on a particular song.

In addition, the other digital functions are handy to have, particularly if your head unit does not already provide them. This is an excellent and versatile equalizer.
