Panasonic KX-TG5621S 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone
Date Published: 4/10/06
This low-priced 5.8GHz cordless phone offers a few features and solid performance. Calls can be made from the 50-entry phonebook or the 50-entry caller ID log, both of which are displayed on an easy-to-read 3-line backlit LCD. One particularly useful feature is the redial function that accesses the last 5 numbers called. Incoming calls are notified through multiple ringer options as well as a visual indicator on the base of the antenna. Because it uses 5.8GHZ frequencies, you don't have to worry about interference with Wi-Fi networks; meanwhile, range is quite good and call clarity is exceptional. Battery life is also good due to the NiMH battery, which is less subject to memory effect than NiCd models. The phone also supports chain dialing. Other features include: handset locator, mute (via the handset), and headset jack. Overall, this is a great phone for people who want a reasonably priced 5.8GHz phone and don't need a lot of features.
