Included in the box are two handsets, one that charges in the base station and another that uses a charging cradle. Each handset has a built-in speakerphone, intercom, and a 50-entry phonebook that can be used for quicker dialing. The base station also has a built-in digital answering machine that can store up to 15 minutes of messages. Because these recordings are stored in flash memory, you don't have to worry about losing important messages when the power goes out.

Panasonic has consistently provided the best range and clarity for cordless conversations, and the KX-TG2632B continues this trend with its frequency-hopping transmissions. The big caveat, though, is that 2.4GHz signals interfere with Wi-Fi networks. Incoming calls can be notified by multiple ringer options, or the handsets can notify you visually through the indicator lights on the antennae. These lights also notify you of new messages.
